BOOK REVIEWS FOR INVESTORS

There is no single book that can provide a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of investing, just as there is no one book that can thoroughly explain medicine, mathematics, economics or philosophy. These fields are too complex for anyone to master without years of study and experience. Nevertheless, there are a number of excellent books on the topics of investing, economics and finance that can provide investors valuable information.

The books included in our reviews have been carefully selected from a large number of candidates and are among the finest written in their areas. Some are excellent from cover to cover, while others have important strengths in specific topics. We have written these reviews because (1) we have a number of clients who take an interest in investments and finance and (2) we find that the better informed our clients are, the easier it is for us to communicate our investment approach, actions and results.
