This short and witty 1985 gem of investment wisdom is now back in print,
and that is very good news. Successful investing requires not only a good
measure of intellectual skill and experience, but it also requires the
investor to control his emotional inclinations. Indeed, I would suggest
that at least as many people have fallen prey to their emotional
mistakes as to their intellectual ones. Focused on the typical
emotional problems investors have in pursuing investment success, this
excellent book touches on everything from hope, greed and fear, to
stubbornness and intuition. Though this is an easy read, it delves into
a profound aspect of the investment process. |
